Sooooooo... I didn't take a single picture this Thanksgiving Holiday. Had a great week.. ate way too much.. did some shopping... it was a good time. Thursday Rich and I went to his sister's house for Thanksgiving dinner. Friday a.m. we got up and headed down to Mom's house. Beth, Brian, Dylan, and Jenny also came down. (Leah spent the week in Georgia.) We had ANOTHER Thanksgiving dinner at Mom's on Friday. Saturday we got up and hit the mall. Did some shopping.. I meant to buy Christmas gifts, but just ended up buying crap for me. I've 24 days to get shopping. And decorations.. sheesh.. I don't even want to think about it. We have little storage at our place. The Christmas decorations are in the bottom of the "closet of broken dreams." The "closet of broken dreams" is another posting for later... anyway.. the decorations are all in the back and the bottom of this closet. I dread getting them out. Baaaaaahhh- humbug!

Happy B'day Grandma!

Okay, so I'm going to hell!!!! I didn't post anything on Grandma's Birthday! AAHHHH!! Worst Grand kid EVA!! Just kidding, we all know that Shawn falls under that category. (See Shawn, I always find a way to add you to the blog!) Don't worry G'ma, we wont' make you upset.. and just remember.. Shawn started it.. SHAWN ALWAYS STARTS IT!

Grandma is the coolest G'ma ever! Not too many folks have a grandma that rides motercycles, drives the church bus, drinks margaritas, wears leather pants and BOOGIES! We (me and all of my cousins) are so lucky to have you! We love you very much! Happy (belated) birthday.

Happy Birthday Joe and J-Bob!!!

This post is a little late. Wednesday was my step-dad Joe's birthday and my nephew J-Bob! (Jackson Robert!) Thanks Joe for putting up with all of us. I don't think that man had a clue what he was getting himself into when he married Mom. (I don't mean that in a mean way Mom... but you have to admit.. our family is sorta crazy... I'm including myself in this as well.)
I didn't have a picture of Joe to add with me but I've got this great pic of J-Bob getting his first haircut.

Happy Birthday guys!!! Love you!!!

I don't get it...

Okay, I probably shouldn't be admitting this on the world wide web, I'll probably be shunned and out casted, but I don't get Ebay. Seriously, I don't understand it. I keep reading about people finding these great deals so yesterday I went to the Ebay site to check it out and I'm at a loss. First of all, if I'm not mistaken, you have to bid on things, right? So you have to go back and check on it like 900 times before the bid closes... am I correct, am I missing a step? Who has time to do that? I mean, I have a job. Although I will say, I always find plenty of time during the day to read US Magazine online (you have to check it several times.. they will post "breaking stories"), random blogs of friends and people I don't know, my personal email... etc. What bothers me about Ebay is that I would be FORCED to check it several times a day. Dare I say, an obligation.. a commitment. UUggghh. I have this same issue with Book Club. I started Book Club, I love Book Club, but I can't force myself to read the book until RIGHT BEFORE the meeting.. why? Because I have too.

Soooo... am I missing something on Ebay? Is that what you have to really do? Sounds like a pain in the ass.

The Indian Princess, Buzz Lightyear and a Kitty Cat

I know this is posted sorta late. I've been crazy busy with work. We're in Boston right now. My sister Elisha sent me these pictures and they are just too cute! I think Buzz Light year (Gage) makes me laugh the most in these pictures!

Yo.. Calling all Swede-o-philes...

I've got a client meeting in less than an hour with some dudes from Sweden. I'm searching the internet trying to find acceptable topics of conversation as to prevent ackward "pauses." Sooo, this is what I have so far:

1. Swedish Chef from the Muppets..come on'.. who doesn't love that dude. (Please dear Jesus give me strength not to do an impersonation after 2 glasses of wine.)
4. Swedish Massage

Oh god, this is going to be a disaster, isn't it?

We received some bad news earlier this week. Our Uncle Joe (my Mom and Aunt Lea's brother) passed away. I was in Chicago and Beth was in Boston. We both made our way down to Georgia for the funeral and to be with our family. It's always hard a time like this..... obviously. However, it was nice seeing the family. I can't believe how big my nieces and nephews have gotten. It feels sorta tacky breaking out the camera at a funeral, but sheesh, the whole family is together. (I didn't have my camera.. I took these with my phone. I didn't have my camera with me in Chicago since I was there for business and I left early and flew straight to Atlanta.)
Aunt Mimi and J-Bob... he's so cute!!!!
